On Monday, state Environment Minister, Aaditya Thackeray released a poster with a message for COVID-19 vaccination that will be put up at the entrance of housing societies wherein all residents who are eligible have been fully vaccinated in Mumbai, highlighted a report by the PTI.

Poster copies with the message, “My Society Responsible Society” will be put to propagate the message of getting fully inoculated.

Speaking during this event, Thackeray added that alongside the message the poster will also entail a QR Code or quick response along with a logo.

These posters will be put outside the gates of those housing societies in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) jurisdiction, whose 100% vaccination has been attained, he believes that this will invoke a sense of pride amongst the residents.

He then went on to elucidate that this program will propel other housing societies to also ensure that their members are fully vaccinated. This will invariably help the city achieve the target of 100% vaccination.

In addition to this, Suresh Kakani the additional municipal commissioner added that many steps are being undertaken at various levels to fasten the vaccination numbers of those eligible living in the BMC areas. In regards to these measures, these posters in both English, as well as Marathi, have been published. He added that the civic authority has already proclaimed directives to put these posters at society entrances of those who have achieved 100% vaccination.

The QR code that is present on the poster can be scanned using a smartphone which will open a webpage that will comprise a list of vaccination centres in a said area.
