HSC Results 2022: Mumbai's Pass Percentage At Bottom of Nine Divisions

The Maharashtra Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results have reportedly been announced. In the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary And Higher Secondary Education's (MSBSHSE) HSC results for 2022, 94.22 per cent of students in the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams passed the exam in the offline exam.

Based on accounts, the HSC results 2022 link will be activated at 1 pm. In order to check their results, candidates have been advised to keep their admit cards in handy. The results can be checked online. 

It has been reported that an aggregate of 14,85,191 students had registered for the HSC exams. From these, 817,188 are male pupils while 6,68,003 are female pupils. With 13,56,604 students clearing the exams, 95.35 per cent were girls, whilst 93.29 per cent were boys. 

Narratives suggest that in the HSC results proclaimed on Wednesday, June 8, Mumbai was placed at the bottom of the nine divisions. The city reportedly has a 90.91 pass percentage, when juxtaposed to that of the state is at 94.22 per cent. 

Konkan tops the division-wise HSC results at 97.21 per cent, it is trailed by Nagpur, Amravati and Latur at 96.52 per cent, 96.34 per cent and 95.25 per cent. In the fifth place is Kolhapur at 95.07 per cent. It is followed by Nashik, Aurangabad, Pune and Mumbai at 95.03 per cent, 94.97 per cent, 93.61 per cent and 90.91 per cent.

Narratives suggest that nearly 14 lakh students entailing three lakh from Mumbai appeared for the examinations in their concerned colleges. The science stream reportedly has the highest pass percentage at 98.3 followed by Commerce and Arts at 91.71 per cent and 90.51 per cent respectively. 

Similarly, the HSC vocational had an aggregate passing percentage of 92.40. Moreover, the maximum students who appeared for the exams were from the stream of science. 

Likewise, Maharashtra school education minister, Varsha Gaikwad took to Twitter to highlight that the results this year are 3.56 per cent higher than that in 2020.
