The next phase of vaccination will begin on May 1 for everyone above the age of 18 years. The registration for the same will resume on April 28 on the CoWin website and app.
According to reports, the CoWin portal/app where Indian citizens can register for vaccination against coronavirus — will be made ready for 18 plus beneficiaries by April 24.
MyGovIndia has tweeted that phase 3 will begin on May 1, and registrations for vaccination will begin soon through the CoWIN platform and the Aarogya Setu app.

What is Co-WIN app?
Co-WIN is a platform for the citizens of India to Register for COVID-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest vaccination centres.
Moreover, this mobile app and portal also record the data and statistics about vaccinations. The app will also create a database of health workers from all states and union territories.

How many people can be registered in the Co-WIN portal through one mobile number?
As per the official website, “Up to 4 people can be registered for vaccination using the same mobile number.”

You can register for the Co-WIN portal using any of the following ID proofs:
a. Aadhaar card
b. Driving License
c. PAN card
d. Passport
e. Pension Passbook
f. NPR Smart Card
g. Voter ID Card (EPIC)
The same identity card used during registration has to be shown while going for vaccination.
