The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) authorities have been on alert since a milkman in Marol tested positive for coronavirus. The person is reported to be a resident of one of the slum areas near Marol pipeline. Accordingly, BMC has sealed the area and has started testing people living near his residence.

Before he was tested positive, the milkman had complained of fever and sore throat. After which, the person got himself tested and his reports showed he had contracted the virus. His family members and neighbours have been quarantined. The authorities are also finding out about the people whom the milkman had come in contact in the last 14 days.

The area in Marol has been sealed to avoid the spread of coronavirus in the slums near the pipeline.

As per reports, the pizza delivery boy is a resident of Savitri Nagar, an area in South Delhi. He was tested recently and his COVID-19 test results came out on April 14..
