Vinayak Raut has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to remove Narayan Rane from the cabinet for making offensive remarks about Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Raut said that such language shouldn’t be tolerated and etiquette should be maintained.

Shiv Sena’s youth wing, Yuva Sena’s activists, were seen staging agitation in Mumbai’s, Juhu. Herein workers from the BJP and Shiv Sena were seen clashing with each other.

Union Minister Narayan Rane has been arrested by the Ratnagiri police for making statements against Thackeray. Three FIRs were also registered against Rane.

Following the arrest of Rane, BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra has been transformed into an agitation, said Yatra Chief, Pramod Jathar.

Based on reports, since Rane is a Rajya Sabha MP, as per the protocol, the police informed of his arrest to Rajya Sabha Speaker and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.

A case is said to have been registered against Narayan Rane under sections 500, 502, 505 and 153 (A) on Nashik Shiv Sena office bearer’s Sudhakar Badgujar’s FIR at Mahad police station. After this, Yuva Sena Secretary Rohit Kadam lodged a case under IPC Sections 153, 153 B (1) (C), 505 (2) at Chaturshrungi Police Station in Pune. A similar case has been reported in Raigad too.
