Mumbai: Water Supply Will Be Disrupted In Many Parts Of K-West And K-East Wards On October 6 And 7

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that water supply will be disrupted in many part’s of Mumbai’s K-West and K-East wards on October 6 and 7, mentioned accounts. These wards comprise Juhu, Andheri west and east.

The BMC will work to contain the leak on the 1,200 mm-diameter pipelines at the Versova outlet near Nand Bhawan Udyog on Mahakali Caves Road, Jogeshwari (East).

The work will start at 10 am on October 6 and will be completed at 10 am on October 7. The BMC said that due to these works, the water supply in K/East and K/west wards will be affected. This means the water supply will either be skipped or curtailed from the normal supply.

According to the information shared, supply zones in the K/West wards that comprise S.V Road Andheri and Gilbert Hill will have no water supply on October 7, 2021. Other areas such as the H-West, Juhu Koliwada, Four Bungalows, Mora Gaon and Parle Supply will have water supply with low pressure.

Additionally, supply zones in the K/East wards that comprise Parle outlet KE 09, will have no water supply on October 7, 2021. Apart from this, the NS Phadake Road Zone and the entire Parle east area will have no water supply on October 6, 2021. The Andheri low-level area on the other hand will attain water supply with low pressure.

Some information also states that areas such as Parel and Naigaon will face restricted water supply on October 5. Water supply will be interrupted from 10 am on October 5 to 10 am on October 6.
